Pilot – Captain (SD3-60) Pay

  • Annualized Base Salary: $48,000
  • Mileage Pay: $0.15/mile
  • Annual Mileage Bonus: $0.04/mile
  • Per Diem: $2.125/hour

Pilot – Captain (SD3-60) Schedule

  • Captains are on-call Monday 6 AM– Friday, every 4th weekend
  • Opportunities to be on-call during off weekends exist, and result in additional earning potential

Pilot – Captain (SD3-60) Minimum Qualifications

  • Total Time: 2,000 hours
  • Instrument Time: 250 hours
  • Multi Engine Time: 300 hours
  • SD-3 Type PIC or SIC, or equivalent aircraft
  • Part 135 or 121 experience preferred

Pilot – Captain (SD3-60) Requirements and Essential Functions:
Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • FAA Commercial Pilot’s license with Multi-Engine and Instrument rating
  • Required to hold a FAA First or Second Class medical certificate
  • FCC radio license
  • DOT drug and alcohol program with no priors
  • Ability to pass all required background checks
  • Ability to enter all countries of the Americas on short notice
  • Valid Passport

Essential Functions

  • Ability to maintain First or Second Class medical certificate and pilot’s license
  • Ability to safely operate assigned aircraft
  • Ability to inspect aircraft before and after flights
  • Ability to meet travel assignments with short notice and perform trips that require multiple days away from home
  • Ability to report to work and be airborne within time specified, or as soon as safely possible
  • Ability to monitor and exercise administrative and supervisory control over flight operations, to include ensuring the professional conduct of pilots
  • Ability to ensure safe, efficient, and effective flight operations and procedures
  • Must be able to perform loading and unloading of freight, flight operations and safety functions
  • Must meet regulatory requirements, physical demands and work environment requirements
